It takes a long time to grow an old friend. Kerrilee and her horses Madi & Twinkle have the kind of friendship that’s built over a lifetime. I was so privileged to be asked to photograph their relationship. Arriving at the farm, I was excited to see some beautiful fields, sheds & brick buildings … all of which would make perfect backdrops. Farm yards are a photographers dream! I went to meet the horses and had a quick discussion to finalise the session plans and make sure everything was set. We opted to photograph Madi first, followed by Twinkle.
