One of the best parts of being a full time family portraits photographer is being able to see children grow up and getting to know their families. Many customers return regularly for updates to the family photo album. I’ve photographed Rachel & Clint several times now (since Mid 2014 if memory serves me correctly) and most recently photographed the arrival of their latest boy, Jesse, both as a newborn and for his 1st Birthday cake smash. Jesse’s growing up fast and is now finding his feet so for this session we decided to head out on location. Rachel recommended a lovely woodland setting – one of my favourite types of locations – in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Notts. Despite the occasional drizzle of rain, everyone had plenty of fun and we came away with some beautiful new photos for their album.
