Charlene and James first approached me to be their Mansfield Wedding Photographer after i’d been recommended to them by a friend. We met up one evening and spent some time discussing their plans and chatting about Charlene’s love of Elephants. Charlene and James had decided to officially tie the knot at their local church in Calverton, before heading to a ‘Tipi’ for a fantastic rustic wedding reception jam packed with lots of hand made finishing touches (my kind of wedding!) I started the day by meeting with Charlene and the bridal party at their local hairdressers, before heading home with them to photograph the remainder of their bridal preparations. I also quickly popped to catch up with James and the groomsmen who had were slightly panicked by the fact they had lost of the groomsmens ties! After the church service, we all headed across to the Tipi in Caythorpe where guests were greeted with a marhmallow fire pit and some of the best wood fired Pizza’s I have ever tasted! The ‘Tipi’ setting made for a totally ‘fun’ and ‘unfussy’ evening which complimented Charlene & James perfectly. I had some much fun photographing Charlene & James’ wedding – here are some of my favourite images.
