As regular followers of this blog will know, I tend to spend most of my time photographing young families and children. When I received an email asking if I would be available to photograph a party organised to celebrate 60 years of marriage I was super excited! It was going to be a big affair with family members from all over the globe reuniting for this most special of occasions. We decided it would be best to photograph the family portraits early in the morning so I headed to the family home bright and breezy. It’s always a priviledge photographing around people’s home. This has been the family home for generations so it’s all those extra little details in the photographs that make them so personal. I was so honoured to be able to photograph this lovely couple and their family … here’s a few of my favourites.
