I’m always on the look out for places that would make great backdrops so when I saw the former Gloucester Prison was available for hire I knew I had to shoot there! I’ve worked with Joe before and knew he was interested in shooting some more images at quirky locations. Joe was full of ideas about the shoot, and suggested inviting his dance partner Abbie along too. I expected a slightly ‘grungy’ feel given the prison has been decomissioned since 2013, but hadn’t anticipated just how beautiful the building itself would be – the architecture is absolutely stunning! There’s so much space here that we spent a few hours having fun and exploring all the different areas but there’s still so much we didnt get time to make use of, I cant wait to go back!
