In a strange way, it feels like winter has been very long this year. Perhaps the ‘beast from the east’ in March didn’t do much to help, and the late onset of spring has meant the trees and flowers have stayed bare for a long time. As an outdoor lifestyle photographer in Nottingham, I’ve learned to pay attention and notice little things like this. Perhaps not surprisingly then, when I saw the mini heatwave forecast for the end of April I was filled with excitement. The first signs of summer were finally on their way. For this session, we headed just outside of Nottingham to the town of Newark. There’s such an abundence of beautiful scenery in Newark from the old stone walls of the castle, to the shop lights that adorn the market square. We spent some time wandering around and making the most of the gorgeous weather and beautiful scenery … and of course capturing some stunning portraits for the family album. Here’s some sneak peeks 🙂
If you would like to book a family or child photoshoot of your own, in or around Nottingham, why not send me a message? I’d love to chat through the options with you.
