FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I’ve listed below responses to some of my most commonly asked questions. However, if you have a query which isn’t answered here please feel free to drop me a message. I’ll get back to you within 48 hours.
How long does it take to get our images?
Online galleries and digital files are usually ready for when you return from your honeymoon (approximately 3-4 weeks after the wedding date). Albums will be delivered approximately 8-10 weeks after final approval of the design.
How many images will we receive?
The number of images taken depends on many things – the number of guests & hours of coverage for example. As such, I don’t promise a minimum amount although most full day weddings will receive around 350+ finished images. Please be assured you will receive sufficient images to beautifully illustrate the story of your day and i’ll never hold any images back from you. I prefer to take a ‘quality’ over ‘quantity’ approach.
Can we choose which images go into our album?
Absolutely! I usually produce a ‘signature’ design to show you during the initial viewing of your images. Most couples love this and only suggest minor tweaks and changes. However, I’m more than happy to produce an album to your specific requirements should you prefer.
Will you hold the date for me?
Sorry, but unfortunately I cannot hold a date or ‘pencil’ you in. Dates are offered on a first come, first served basis, – and I only accept a limited number of wedding bookings per year. As such, a booking is only confirmed when both the booking fee and signed contract are received.
What camera do you use?
I shoot using only professional grade Nikon equipment. All my equipment is regularly serviced to ensure the upmost reliability. I always carry backups of all my equipment just incase anything should fail on the day, although that’s very rare.
Do you have insurance?
Absolutely! As a full time photographer I have both public liability and professional indemnity insurance. I can provide certificates upon request.
Are you a member of any professional bodies?
Yes, I am a member of the Guild of Photographers
Do you charge a booking fee?
Yes. My booking fee is £150. Your booking will not be confirmed until both the booking fee and signed contract have been received.
We’re ready to book. What happens how?
